Rotary Airlocks - Rotary Airlock - Rotary Valves - Air Lock products and Rotary Valve Equipment.

MAC has been developing rotary airlocks, airlock equipment, rotary valves, and rotary valve dust collection systems to help manufacturing facilities meet air quality regulations and enhance plant air quality standards since before the passage of the 1970 Clear Air Act. Our experienced rotary airlocks engineers can evaluate the nature and scope of the airlock or valve problem. With an array of valves and dust collectors that includes pulse jet, reverse air, medium-pressure controlled cleaning, cartridge and HEPA systems, we can solve virtually all industrial rotary airlock or air pollution problem.

Airlock Particle analysis at our state-of-the-art rotary airlocks and rotary valve testing facilities is the key to achieving optimal dust collection. Once our rotary airlock engineers have the valve test results, they can design and build the best rotary air filtration systems.

MAC Equipment provides a complete line of rotary airlocks suitable for airlock applications ranging from gravity discharge of filters, rotary valves, cyclone dust collectors, and rotary airlocks storage devices to precision feeders for dilute phase and continuous dense phase pneumatic convey systems. Rotary Airlock performance relates directly to the material handling specifications and rotary valves applications in place.

Heavy Duty Rotary Airlocks and Rotary Valves are ideally suited for low and medium differential air pressure systems, gravity, or volumetric feeder discharge devices.

FS and FR Airlocks are fabricated airlocks with flexible valves, wiper blade rotors, designed to be used for rotary airlock applications handling stringy material or fibrous specialty material products that have a high shear rating.
Rotary Valves (also called airlocks) and rotary airlock systems allow free flowing solids to pass from one valve space to another valves space with a different air pressure. A rotary valve is of no use by itself. Rotary airlock, airlocks, and rotary valves are useful as one component in a bulk or specialty material handling system.

In order to function, rotary valves must have tight valve clearances and powerful motors. Any part of the human body in the way when a rotary airlock blade closes with the housing will be cut off.

Fortunately, in a vast majority of rotary valve applications, rotary valves operate in fully enclosed airlock systems so people cannot accidentally contact the rotating airlock blades. However, rotary airlock accidents can still happen if people are careless using these valves and airlocks.
