Pulse Jets
MAC Pulse Jet filters can be used in a wide variety of air filtration applications. Depending on the configuration, they can be used as the filter in a dust collection system or as the product receiver in a pneumatic conveying system. Filters can also be equipped with a HEPA high efficiency filter on the clean air exhaust where the air is being reintroduced into the work environment. Contact MAC for all of your industrial filtration needs.
Reliable Filtration A full line of pulse jet filters is available. All models feature the same compressed air cleaning technology, reliable components and quality construction. Each model includes factory assembly and pre-wiring of the timer board and solenoid valves to ensure proper installation and operation.

SEntry Pulse Jet Filter: The Side Entry horizontal cartridge filter is designed for low headroom applications. Side Entry provides easy maintenance and accessibility with no concerns about confined space entry and eliminating the need for a ladder and/or safety cage. The rectangular envelope style cartridge design minimizes product retention on the filter cartridge. Wide pleat arrangement allows for high air-to-cloth ratios. The SEntry can be explosion vented through the roof without increasing the cross sectional area of the filter can.

Medium Pressure Pulse Jet Filters (MPJ): are designed for applications where compressed air is not available ot unfavoarable. They incorporate a self-contained PD blower which allows for use in remote areas. Header maximum pressure equals 14.9 PSI. The MPJ is constructed of 12 ga. carbon steel and stressed for 17"WC.
The MPJ patented controlled-cleaning system runs on medium pressure air (only 12-14 PSIG) and requires less horsepower than any other bag filter in the industry. You save on operating costs and don't have to tap into plant air. |

AVS Filters (Air Vent Square): have square housings and ideally designed for use with storage tanks, work bins and similar applifations. The square configuration is more economical than comparable round filters. The standard AVS filter is suitable for systems where the operating static pressure ranges between -432mm W.C. to +432mm W.C. But AVS filters ccan also be customized for higher operating static pressures to meet specific application requirements.

| AVR Filters (Air Vent Round): are designed for vacuum, pressure and combination vacuum / pressure bulk material handling and dust collection systems. Configured with an optional receiver, the AVR is recommended for handling heavy dust loads and for applications in which the filter is used as a pneumatic receiver. Their cylindrical shape enhances housing strength and allows them to operate at higher pressures than standard AVS models. Vacuum ratings range up to 432mm Hg. The tangential inlet and inner cone prevent direct impingement of product on the filter media. |

| RPT & LST Filters (Large Square or Round-housing Top-removal) are similar to the AVS line but are designed for topside bag replacement. They have clean air plenums with hinged top doors for easy access to the tube sheet and filters. A walk-in plenum is optional on some LST models.

| ST & RT Filters (Round or Square-housing Top-removal) are counterparts to the AVR filters. Filter media is installed and removed through the topside, or clean air plenum of the filter. On larger sizes, the plenum can be designed as a walk-in plenum so that filter media replacement and maintenance can occur in an enclosure. On smaller sizes, or when the option of a walk-in plenum is not selected, hinged doors on top of the plenum are provided for access to the filter media. |
