Testing
Testing Provides the Best Solutions
Our state-of-the-art MACLab™ testing facilities enable us to analyze the properties of materials and to compile valuable performance data on our conveying, filtration, and process control systems to ensure optimum equipment performance. Materials testing lets us determine the most efficient conveying or filtration technique and equipment configuration for each specific application. We encourage customers to be present while their tests are run so that they can see firsthand how the equipment and product perform.
Pneumatic Conveying Testing
Test Actual Plant Conditions
Our Houston, Texas MACLab™ contains the revolutionary MAC Continuous Dense Phase (CDP™) system, a Low-Pressure Continuous Dense Phase (LPCDP™) system, a dilute phase system, a pressure vessel system and a vacuum dense phase system. 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-inch lines, along with several stepped configurations, simulate actual plant conditions. The five types of conveying technology allow MAC to demonstrate the correct conveying mode for the customer's needs. MAC can illustrate the advantages and limitations of each method and directly compare the differences. Come to Houston and let us prove our solution.
Air Filtration Testing
Watch Real-time Filter Comparisons
MAC's Particle Emissions Test (PET) equipment, located in our Sabetha, Kansas facility, is unequaled in the filtration industry. Get valuable information to design and specify the best system. We simulate actual operating conditions and perform side-by-side comparison tests of different types of dust collectors and filter media.
Material samples are analyzed to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of the particulate. With this information, we narrow the range of appropriate filtration techniques and begin comparing the effectiveness of various collector and media combinations. The Particle Emissions Test equipment records and graphs air flow and velocity, air-to-cloth ratios, pressure differentials, inlet loading and outlet mass emissions. Our scientific testing will give you the data you need to design a system that will meet your air quality goals.
We invite you to visit the Sabetha MACLab™ and let us prove our solution.
Bench Scale Testing
Start with the Basics
MAC has an extensive testing procedure to determine critical material properties affecting pneumatic conveying, bulk storage or filtration. Testing ranges from visual inspections to very precise laser diffraction particle analysis. These tests are essential to develop a better understanding of the customer's product.
